Details
The University Grants Commission (UGC) in India has issued guidelines for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to provide equitable opportunities for Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups (SEDGs). These guidelines are aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and aim to improve access and inclusivity in higher education for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
