About Department
Department of Electronics & Telecommunication established in 2008, has maintained pace with the cutting edge technology through research, tie up with Industries and updated laboratories. The department offers undergraduate program, the intake of which is 30. The department also offers a post graduate programs in Electronics Engineering (Communication). This is one branch of Engineering that will always be in great demand because no industry can run without the expertise of Electronics Engineering. The Department has well equipped laboratories with modern software tools required for the curriculum. It has highly qualified & well experienced Faculty members and who continuously up-grades their knowledge. Along with central library department have departmental library as well. The staff is always motivated to go for higher education, seminars, STTPs, workshops. Many of them have presented & published papers, research papers in National & International Conferences /Journals.
The Department has its own students forum called “ELITE”,Various Departmental activities like ‘Teachers Day’, “Engineers Day” are organized by the forum.Along with the extracurricular activities, the Department is concentrates on the conducts Two Unit Tests per semester, PUT& MOC Practical Examination to prepare them for the Finals. As part of the “Human Touch” in the education process, a special scheme is in place called “Teacher-Guardian”. The Guardian Teacher acts as a friend, philosopher, and guide to the students and helps them deal with stress. The Department’s mission is to provide students with quality education through modern teaching tools and facilities. Our Academic result in the RTMNU examinations is outstanding.
Head of Department

Ms. Ankita Vijay Rekkawar is Head of the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Swaminarayan Siddhanta Institute of Technology, Nagpur. She joined as Assistant Professor in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department in August 2023. On 1st August 2023 she was taken the charge as Head of Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree (Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering) from Amravati University in the year 2012. She did her Master’s degree in the specialization of Electronics and Communication Engineering from Gondwana University, Ballarpur in the year 2017. She has more than Nine years of experience in teaching. She has published papers in reputed International and National Journals. She has attended various seminars, workshops, etc. She is a highly energetic, dynamic and self-motivated person.

Program Educational Objectives (PEO)
The program educational objectives of the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Program at Swaminarayan Siddhanta Institute of Technology, Nagpur are that its graduates could demonstrate the following essential components of a successful engineer and/or consultant within two to four years of graduation:
- PEO-1: To build strong foundation in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering to excel in competitive exam and to pursue higher studies.

Engineering Graduates will be able to:
- Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
- Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
- Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
- Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
- Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modelling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
